Sometimes, it feels like the whole world is falling around us. The constant barrage of push notifications doesn't help. And while there is reason to be concerned, that's not the whole story. In fact, I'm not even convinced it's the biggest story-though it may be the loudest.
The Creating Good Magazine amplifies the stories of GOOD being created around us. This is important for two reasons:
1. We're reminded that good is happening in the world,
2. We see how each of us uses our resources, skills, expertise, relationships, and ingights to create good ourgelves.
That's what the Creating Good movement is all about.
At Creating Good, we see firsthand the incredible things being done in the world to make it a better place. We have the opportunity to help tell the amazing stories of people committed to making our lives a little better. In this issue, you'll find people transforming neighborhoods in Orange County, empowering women globally, and supporting the families of Lahaina, Maui, who lost everything in 2023. Through the work done by countless amazing nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and supporters, we can not only be inspired and find hope, but we can be a part of the good being created worldwide.
These stories encapsulate the mission of Creating Good... and we're just getting started! Our podcast and meetups, formerly known as Nonprofit Connect, are now part of the Creating Good family.
We want to continue facilitating learning, growth, and inspiration so that even more good can be created in the world.
So, ignore those notifications for a bit, get encouraged, and experience just a bit of the hope and joy created around us.
